英文原文:An Italian biotech SME has developed innovative recombinant collagenases for applications in cell therapy and regenerative medicine, in pharmaceutics, dermo-cosmetics and further industrial applications. Recombinant collagenases ensure higher stability, batch-to batch reproducibility and purity as compared to collagenases currently on the market. A partner is sought for manufacturing or licencing agreemenst and for the development of applications for collagenases in the above-mentioned field. In all regenerative medicine procedures the relevant living cells need to be isolated from the Extra-Cellular Matrix (ECM) through enzymatic digestion. Collagenases class I and II, among the enzymes utilized for tissue dissociation procedures, are the reagents of choice to isolate the cells from the ECM. Collagenases are currently produced through extraction and purification technologies from Clostridium histolyticum. These extraction and purification processes are highly expensive, have a variable and unstable enzymatic yield, and in addition may be risky for human health due to the presence of impurities linked to the manufacturing process itself. The need for standardized and reliable enzyme molecules has been remarked by a large number of researchers working with such enzymes in the field of cell therapy and regenerative medicine. The company fulfils these unmet customer needs by applying a patented genetic recombination process to synthesize Collagenase class I and II in E.Coli. These synthetic recombinant collagenases class I and II show strong improvements in terms of standardization, reproducibility and purity as compared to extractive collagenases from C. histolyticum. Companys recombinant collagenases are research premium-grade products currently on the market in different formats as a lyophilized powder for applications in all research regenerative medicine fields, as well as in clinical and industrial research centers. Recombinant collagenases are especially indicated for the isolation of primary cells from liver, pancreas, heart, stem cells from adipose tissue, osteoblasts, condrocites and others. However, recombinant collagenases can be applied for all possible collagenases application, like pharmaceutics, dermo-cosmetics, bioremediation and further industrial applications. Company is seeking for : Academic and private groups working in cell therapy, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine fields to develop joint projects and to develop protocols for specific applications. Academic and private groups in the field of pharmaceutics, bioindustry, food industry to develop collagenases applications. Industrial partners in the field of regenerative medicine, pharmaceutics, bioindustry, food industry to perform cGMP (current Good manufacturing Practice) production, licensing agreement, collagenases industrial applications. For regenerative medicine applications such recombinant collagenases allow to set up an efficient and reproducible cell extraction procedure. Indeed, thanks to the recombinant production technique, we produce collagenase class I and II separately in pure fractions. This gives the possibility to mix collagenases class I and II with the desired ratio to optimize the extraction protocol developing a specific blend for each application. This gives enormous advantages in several ways: - it allows to optimize the blend according to the applied protocol (digestion time, amount of solution) - it allows to personalize the blend for each application (different cell types) - thanks to batch reproducibility it will be possible to obtain the same blend any time . Moreover, purity, reproducibility, stability and low costs of the enzymes represent a strong asset for all recombinant collagenases applications.
